JJ For TSC Place 6

This is the home of the J.J. De Leon campaign for Texas Southmost College Board of Trustees Place 6. Juan Jose “J.J.” De Leon Jr. has held his position on the TSC Board of Trustees since he was elected in June of 2018, and he is now asking for your support once again. He has been proud to serve as a member of the Board, and he hopes to continue doing his part to foster the ongoing success of Texas Southmost College and its students.

J.J. has a real passion for serving the community through his work, and he has a solid background in education. With more than 24 years' worth of experience employed by the Brownsville Independent School District, and his ongoing work as the Coordinator for State Compensatory Education, J.J. knows about the community’s educational needs, and he has the expertise needed to see those needs met.

J.J. is a Brownsville native and one of six siblings. He earned his Associate of Applied Science at UTB-TSC before going on to earn a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences and a Master of Education at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley at Brownsville.
